I celebrated a birthday this past Saturday the 21st of January. It was a really fun day all around topped by a great night of dinner and drink with Emily and friends. The greatest girlfriend in the world, Emily =  http://egseah.mindsay.com/?entry=402 gave me a really amazing gift of a video Ipod, which I am still learning to use and am stunned by how cool it is. I don't think I would have thought to ever buy one for myself, and as Emily said, we both poo pooed them before we each got one and realised how fantastic they are.

It's funny but I was anticipating the usual mix of happiness and some depression of passing another birthday on the way to getting older, but really felt not one bit of sadness nor depression. I think being able to download all 3 soundtracks to the Evil Dead films (with cover pictures!!) as well as some rare Stereolab singles really helped with that ha ha...
